Here are 5 skill sets that I learned from Jarrod Glandt that will help you maximize your results.

Jarrod Glandt is Grand Cardone's right hand man. 

When he started working for Grant in 2010 he lacked the sales drive and discipline to be successful.

As he watched Grant build his company, he began to model how Grant approached setting goals for the year.

Jarrod went from a salesman working for Grant to becoming President of Cardone Enterprises.

Every Thursday Jarrod hosts a show on Grant's channel called "Young Hustlers". 

In the first show of 2022 Jarrod shared 5 skills sets he learned from Grant to grow his income.

The first thing Jarrod does is set goals. 

Jarrod says you should set big goals 10X goals - 10 - 15 years from now.

Where do you want to be?

What are you doing?

Where are you living?

Whose lives are you impacting?

Jarrod says the biggest mistake people make when setting goals is they set targets.

Targets are the short term goals that will get you to the big goal.

For example, let's say that your big goal is to be making $100,000/month in your home business.

A target would be how many people are you going to reach out and prospect every day or how many FB lives are you going to do in a week.

The second skill set you need to achieve is what skill sets are you going to improve on?

Jarrod says be careful in trying to learn too many skills at once.

Focus on 1-2 skills to really master in a year and get good at.

Immerse yourself in that skill set. Find a coach or mentor that can help you with that.

The third skill set you need for home business success is people.

It has been said that your success is the sum of the 5 people you hang around the most.

Jarrod says you shouldn't be the smartest or richest one in the room.

When you start associating with people who have the lifestyle and goals you want, you'll notice that they act and think differently from everyone else.

Just like an all-star baseball player you need to keep your eye on the ball.

For your business that means keeping an eye out for opportunities that can help you reach your goal.

Jarrod gives a word of caution.

If an opportunity promises big returns in a short period of time - if sounds and looks easy, be very cautious. 

You want to make sure that this opportunity stays around for the long term - more than 2-3 years from now.

Jarrod says your most precious asset is not your money but your time. 

Choose wisely.

The final step you need to focus on for home business success is massive action.

Most people fail in their home business because they set resolutions and not routines.

Set up a daily routine of what you're going to focus on your daily targets or activity goals.

Don't wait for it to be perfect.

Your first video, blog post, email, and/or prospecting will suck in the beginning.

But as you continue to work on your skill set every day you'll get better.

It gets easier.
